Nore View House – Accommodation & Booking Details


Booking Direct & Payments

  • When booking directly, a 50% pre-payment is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 14 days before arrival.
  • You’ll receive an automatic payment link to your email for the balance.
  • For bookings made within 14 days of arrival, full payment is processed immediately.
  • Please note: bookings may be cancelled by Nore View House if full payment is not received on time.


Additional Guests

  • The number of guests using the property and grounds must not exceed the number stated in your booking.
  • For adding extra guests after booking, please contact us directly.
  • Owners live onsite; to maintain privacy, unregistered visitors may be refused entry.


Group Bookings

  • We accept small groups up to a maximum of 4 guests (ages 12+).
  • Accommodation includes 3 double bedrooms and 1 twin room.
  • Nore View House is a peaceful retreat with a strict no party policy (including hen and stag parties).


Cancellation Policy – By You

  • Full refund for cancellations made at least 21 days before arrival.
  • 50% refund for cancellations made between 14 and 21 days prior.
  • No refund for cancellations made less than 14 days before arrival.
  • Non-refundable bookings cannot be refunded but travel insurance claims may be possible. We can provide a letter for insurance claims on request.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
  • As a small family business, we kindly ask guests to honor their commitment unless in extreme circumstances.
  • We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.


Cancellation Policy – By Us

  • We reserve the right to amend or cancel bookings, though we aim to avoid major changes within 72 hours of arrival.
  • If a major change is required, you may accept the change or cancel for a full refund.
  • We do not cover any costs incurred due to such changes.


Force Majeure

  • We are not liable for loss or damage caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, government actions, or transport disruptions.


Payments & Security Deposit

  • After booking, you’ll receive a secure link to provide card details for a refundable security deposit hold.
  • The deposit hold lasts 7 days or for the length of your stay, whichever is longer.
  • No money is taken unless damage is found on checkout.
  • Deposit holds are released by your bank within 3 days of departure.


Booking Payments

  • If full payment isn’t made at booking, 50% is required at booking and the remainder 21 days before arrival.
  • Payment reminders and links will be emailed.
  • Failure to complete payments on time may result in cancellation without refund.


Check-In Process

  • You will receive an automated email to complete check-in before arrival.
  • This includes providing contact details and photo ID.
  • Failure to complete this may result in booking cancellation without refund.


Gift Cards

  • Gift cards can be redeemed for bookings or add-on services purchased via our website or onsite.
  • Terms apply; see website for details.


E-Store

  • Available exclusively to guests.
  • Payments via card or mobile only; no cash.
  • Orders placed during operating hours are delivered within 1 hour, otherwise next day.
  • Refunds handled via original payment card after contact.


Property Use & Policies

  • No parties or events allowed (including hen/stag parties). Violation may result in immediate eviction without refund.
  • The property is for self-catering accommodation only — no commercial use permitted.
  • Guests must be 12 years or older due to property layout and surroundings.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited inside. If smoking outside, please be cautious and dispose of cigarettes responsibly. A €400 cleaning fee applies for indoor smoking.
  • No pets allowed due to working farm and wildlife conservation.
  • Property is not wheelchair accessible.


Lost Property

  • We’ll contact guests if items are found. Collection by appointment or postage at guest’s expense.
  • Unclaimed items after 14 days may be disposed of.

Disturbance

  • We reserve the right to require guests to leave without refund if causing disturbance or behaving unacceptably.


Booking Accuracy

  • Bookings made with false information may be cancelled without refund.


Bicycle Hire

  • Bikes and accessories available for rent during your stay.
  • Lost bikes incur a €350 replacement fee.
  • Please lock bikes when not in use.


Promotional Rates

  • We may change promotional rates without notice.
  • Direct bookings on our website offer discounted rates compared to third-party platforms.
