ACCOMMODATION & BOOKING DETAILS

BOOK DIRECT PAYMENTS
When booking direct you make a 50% pre-payment at the time of booking and the remainder 14 days prior to arrival. You will automatically receive a payment link for the balance to the email address you provide at the time of booking. Bookings can be cancelled by Nore View House at any time prior to arrival if the full payment has not been received as agreed. If your booking is made for stays within the immediate 14 days the full amount is processed at time of booking.

ADDITIONAL GUESTS
The number of persons using the house and/or grounds is not to exceed the number of staying guests stated in the booking. Please read our Terms and Conditions for more. If additional guests need to be added after the initial booking is made please contact us for further help.

GROUP BOOKINGS
A small group stays to a maximum of 4 is permitted. Accommodation consists of 3 double bedrooms and 1 twin room. Nore View House is a peaceful place and has a no party policy. This includes hen and stag parties. We ask that all guests respect and enjoy the tranquility Nore View House has to offer.

CANCELLATION POLICY - By you
Our cancellation policy entitles guests to a full refund if a cancellation is made up to 14 days prior to the arrival date., 50% refund if a cancellation is made up to 7 days prior to the arrival date. No refund will be issued if cancellation is made outside of this period. If you have booked a non-refundable rate we are unable to offer a refund once a booking has been made. However, if you have purchased travel insurance you may be able to claim on the policy. We are happy to provide a travel insurance request letter. Click here to request one if needed. This applies to bookings made directly on our website www.noreviewhouse.com . Refunds will be processed to the original payment card only.

As a small family-run business we would ask all guests to honor their commitment to staying with us when making a booking and to only cancel in extreme circumstances.

You may also wish to take out cancellation insurance with your travel insurance company.

FORCE MAJEURE
We do not accept liability or pay compensation for any loss, damage, or expense where the performance or prompt performance of our obligations is prevented or affected by reason of force majeure.
Force Majeure means any event which we could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid such as but not limited to war or threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial action, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, closure of airports or ports, technical problems with transport, governmental action, and all similar events.

CANCELLATION POLICY - By us
We reserve the right to make changes or cancellations after the booking at any time, although we will endeavor not to make a major change or cancel the booking with 72 hours of the arrival date. If we have to make a major change we will offer you the option of accepting the change or canceling the booking and receiving a full refund of monies paid. We do not accept responsibility for any expenses or costs you may incur as a result of any change. Applies to bookings made directly on www.noreviewhouse.com only.

Terms and Conditions​

ADDITIONAL GUESTS
Nore View House owners live on the grounds. The number of persons using the house and or grounds is not to exceed the number of staying guests on the booking.​ To retain Nore View House privacy and exclusivity, we reserve the right to refuse entry to any visitor who has not been booked into the house. If more than the maximum allowed persons to stay in the house, the party can be asked to leave immediately, without refund.

PAYMENTS & SECURITY DEPOSIT
You will receive a secure link after your booking is made to provide card details to allow for a security deposit hold to be authorised. This security deposit is held for a period of 7 days or the length of your stay if longer. No money is taken from your card for the deposit unless damage is detected on check out. The hold is automatically lifted by your bank within 3 days of departure but often sooner. We use charge-automation for the administration and processing of security deposits.

For all bookings where the full amount has not been paid in advance you are required to pay 20% of the total on booking and the remainder no later than 14 days prior to arrival. You will receive an email reminder and payment link to finalise payment. If payments are not made within the period the booking may be cancelled and no refund will be issued.

GIFT CARDS
Gift cards can be redeemed for any booking made on our website www.noreviewhouse.com to pay in part of full payment. Gift cards can also be used to pay for add on services which can be purchased in advance on our website or in person at Nore View House. Full terms can be found by clicking here

e-Store
Our e-store is made available for all guests staying at Nore View House. Purchases made through the e-store can be paid for using credit, debit or mobil payments only - cash can not be accepted. Once an order has been placed the items will be delivered to the property within 1 hour if ordered inside of the specified times. Orders placed outside this time will be delivered the next day.
If you wish to return or request a refund an item after purchase, please use the contact function of the site for more information. Refunds will be made to the original payment card only.

PARTIES/EVENTS
Nore View House has a no party policy in place. This includes hen and stag parties. We reserve the right to cancel all stays that have commenced if parties take place and all guests will be asked to leave the property immediately at their own expense. No refund will be issued in this circumstance.

USE OF THE ACCOMMODATION
Nore View House operates as a self-catering holiday let. The house must not be used for commercial use or gain and must be used for the purpose of self-catering accommodation only.

AGE RESTRICTIONS
Due to the age of the house, layout, and contents along with its location adjacent to a working farm, Nore View House can only accept adults and young adults 12+.

SMOKING POLICY
Smoking is prohibited in the house at all times. The natural surrounds are highly sensitive. We would ask all guests to practice caution if smoking outside. Cigarettes must be properly extinguished and disposed of. We respectfully request that guests do not smoke in the rooms and public areas. Anyone found to be smoking or having smoked the property will be subject to a deep-cleaning fee of €400.
PETS
Nore View House does not accept pets. The property is located on a working farm and a natural reserve, where wildlife flourishes undisturbed.

ACCESSIBILITY
Unfortunately due to the traditional layout of the property, Nore View House is not wheelchair accessible.
​
LOST PROPERTY
Items left behind at Nore View House will in the first instance be notified to the guest who has checked out. Items can be collected from Nore View with prior appointment. If items need to returned by post the cost of such return is taken by the guest. Once the required payment has been made the items will be returned via An Post.
If no contact can be reached between us and the guest or no payment for postage has been made within 21 days of notification the items can be destroyed.

DISTURBANCE
Nore View House reserves the right to require an individual or group to leave without a refund if they are causing a disturbance, annoyance, or behaving in an unacceptable manner.

ACCURACY & BREACH OF CONDITIONS
To facilitate our ability to continue to provide safe and enjoyable experiences, Nore View House reserves the right to refuse a booking request from an individual or group and reserves the right to cancel an existing booking, without refund, if evident that the booking made was not based on accurate information or any attempt was deemed to have been made to book accommodation under false pretences.

BICYCLE HIRE / RENTAL
All bicycles including accessories are offered under rental terms to guests staying at Nore View House at a fixed cost for the agreed duration. If you fail to return the bicycle to Nore View House at the end of your rental period you are liable for a fixed replacement charge of €350. You are responsible for ensuring that locks are used to secure the bike when not in use. Bikes must be collected and returned to Nore View House unless previously agreed otherwise.

PROMOTIONAL RATES
Nore View House reserves the right to amend and or charge promotional rates without notice. Promotional prices are discounted up-to the stated discount rate when booked direct and compared to booking through travel partners such as airbnb, hotels.com, booking.com etc.
