What are the check in and check out times?
Our check in time is 3pm on the day of arrival and check out time is 11am on the day of departure. We may be able to accomodate an earlier check in or later check out depending on availabilty.
Is there parking available?
Free parking is available for all guests staying at Nore View House
Can I bring my pet with me?
We love pets too but unfortunately pets are not permitted to stay at Nore View House. The property is on a working farm so therefore we can not allow pets to stay. We are happy to recommend a pet hotel close to the property if that is needed.
Can I get groceries/supplies delivered for my arrival?
You can get groceries delivered to the house for your arrival. Tesco, SuperValu and Dunnes Store offer online delivery services to the house.
Simply enter eircode R95 NY01 when placing your order, select your prefered time and your arrival day.
How far is Dublin Airport from Nore View?
If driving from Nore View House - Dublin Airport is approx 1hour 30mins. There are regular train services to Dublin with connection to the airport via IrishRail and a number of buses run from Kilkenny to the airport also.

How do I make a new booking?
Making a new booking at Nore View House is quick and easy. You can make an instant booking online through our website or give us a call if you prefer and we can help you. Our friendly staff will be more than happy to assist you with any questions you may have and guide you through the booking process.
When making a booking, you will be required to provide your personal information and payment details to secure your reservation.
Once confirmed, we will send you a confirmation email with all the details of your booking. If you have any special requests or requirements, please do not hesitate to let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

How do I amend/cancel a booking?
If you have made a non-refundable booking or are outside the cancellation period we regret it may not be possible to cancel. If you are within your cancellation period you can amend your booking via your booking partner portal or if your booking is direct simply click the amend button in your original booking email.

Can I request a refund?
Yes you can request a full refund on any booking made directly on our website within the standard booking terms.
If you have selected a non-refundable booking we regret a refund is not possible but you may be able to claim on any travel insurance you have purchased. Further details can be found here, Terms and Conditions
If you have booked with a booking partner such as booking.com, airbnb, hotels.com you will need to contact them directly or use the self service online portal to amend your booking.
How do I get my receipts and invoices?
If you made a direct booking with us you can click here to access your guest portal. Simply enter the same email address used to make the booking and your account will be available.
Can I add an additional guest to my booking?
Yes, it is possible to add an additional guest to your booking at Nore View House. However, please note that this is subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
Please contact us directly to make changes to your booking and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
What is the max number of guests at Nore View House?
We welcome a max of 4 guests per booking at Nore View House.

If you are experiencing any issues with our website, please contact us immediately. Our team will be happy to assist you in resolving any problems you may be facing. You can contact us through our contact page or by emailing us at support@noreviewhouse.com. We will do our best to respond to your query as soon as possible.
Is my data safe?
Yes we use the latest security software and secure servers to process your data including booking information. In line with industry standards we only store your data for the lenght of the booking period after which time your data is securely removed.

Can I buy gift cards?
Yes, we are pleased to offer you the option to purchase a Nore View House gift card to treat yourself or a loved one.

How long does the gift card last?
Our gift cards are issued with no expiry date. When you are ready to use your gift card, we are ready to welcome you to Nore View House.
How do I redeem a gift card?
You can redeem your gift card on all bookings made directly on our wesbite and you can redeem for additional services such as bike hire, fishing permits or gifts at the property. https://www.noreviewhouse.com.
How do I check the balance of my gift card?
You can check your gift card balance at any time on our gift card portal.
Is Kilkenny easy to get around?
Yes! Kilkenny is a compact and walkable city, making it easy to explore on foot. Additionally, there are plenty of public transportation options available, including buses and taxis.
If you're looking to venture outside of the city centre, there are also car rental services available in Kilkenny city aswell as go-car services. At Nore View House, we're happy to provide recommendations for transportation and help you plan your adventures in Kilkenny.
Is there much to do in Kilkenny?
Yes, Kilkenny is a vibrant and bustling city with plenty of activities and attractions to keep visitors entertained. Some popular things to do in Kilkenny include visiting the medieval Kilkenny Castle, exploring the stunning gardens at the Castlecomer Discovery Park, taking a stroll along the River Nore, and enjoying a pint of Guinness in one of the city's many traditional Irish pubs. There are also plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafes to explore, as well as various cultural events and festivals throughout the year. Can I hire a bike?
Yes, you can hire a bike during your stay at Nore View House. We have a number of bicycles available for hire, including standard and electric bikes. Please let us know in advance if you would like to hire a bike so we can ensure we have one available for you.
Bikes are available for a small additional fee and are a great way to explore the local area and nearby attractions. Our team will be happy to help you plan your cycling route and provide recommendations for places to visit.
How much is bike hire?
We offer a competitive hire rate to all guests and can be rented at time of booking online or after you have arrived at Nore View House using contactless payment options.
How can I book bike hire?
You can book your bike rental at the time of booking on our website, after you have booked through your personalised guest app or in person at Nore View House once you have checked in.
Can I rent a bike if I am not a guest?
Regretably it is not possible at the moment for us to offer bike rental to non registered guests.
What permits are available?
We currently offer 4 types of permit for gusts staying at Nore View House and within season which generally runs from mid April to the end of September.

How do I purchase a permit?
You can purchase a permit at time of booking if you book direct, in person on arrival at Nore View House using card payment or through your guest app which you have access to for the duration of your stay. You can also email us info@noreviewhouse.com for more information.
Can I purchase a permit if I am not a guest?
Regretably at this time we are not in a position to offer permit's to non registered guests.
